So why oh why aren't they releasing this information to the market.

They are actually sailing close to the wind here. The ASX rules are very strict on anything that stretches the "continuous disclosure" rules.

They certainly need some advice and fast. The ASX will suspend them in a heartbeat if they think that DCC is not keeping shareholders and the market fully informed on a continuous basis. It is a rule taken very seriously and directors have got in to trouble for what looks like very minor breaches of this rule.

DCC execs seem to be taking the market and its rules way too lightly. Hopefully BBY will wake them up.
