buster - I think it actually says that the Final Investment Decision could be made later this year. You might want to look at slide 32 of the AGM presentation which lists all the things needed to be done prior to construction actually commencing. It seems to me that they have got lots of processes underway but until they have secured financing none of those processes were completed. I'm not sure why the FID sits on the timeline for all those processes.

I've sort of expected several already achieved milestones eg the deal with Eurochem to be the event that causes Danakali to totally change its complexion - from speccy want-to-be to deadest project developer - but maybe its the "any day now" finance deal that will bring about that metamorphosis (??).
