Ozprey - I think your memory serves you well .... DP World is a major port operator. It is Dubai based, not China based (which I personally think is a good thing). Not sure where Eritrea sits regarding the chasm between the Iranian friendly ME states and the Saudi grouping. My understanding is that Dubai and the rest of the UAE are in Saudi Arabia's corner. But in any case I can find no indication that DP World is anything other than a commercial operator of ports.
