I'd suggest it's pretty simple on these volumes that retail investors are either fed up waiting or have a much greater use for the money in the short term. 2 years ago we were all happy to throw 10k or 20k at a crypto or penny stock and take a punt on something, with home loan rates next to nothing

Now it's hard to justify a bet on ANP with a possible pay out late next year, when your home loan now costs you an extra 10k or 20k a year

Big redirection of funds going out of the stock market and into life expenses/mortgages, imo
