PC3 - FYI the pharma companies all know exactly what antisense is and its intended pharmacologic benefits and THEY are the potential licensees who will hopefully bring an exponential increase to the share price. So too the market analysts. If some retail investors are confused by the name, a bit of homework will answer their questions just as you have done. The new name Percheron is a horse which will add absolutely no value, but a lot of confusion and will require the company to work hard from square one to rebuild awareness of the company, and regardless of name, its technology will still be antisense oligonucleotides, not horses.

If you put antisense into a search engine, Antisense Therapeutics come up at the top of the first page. Google Percheron after the name change and the first couple of pages will be all about horses.

Musk said changing Twitter to X probably cost $billions in valuation and nearly everybody still calls the company Twitter. Facebook is still known as Facebook despite Zuckerberg changing the company name to Meta. Wall Street was highly critical, and the share price was smashed as a result. Both Musk and Zuckerberg lost $Billions; but then they probably don't care. I wonder if ANP shareholders will care.a year from now when our company is still known as Percheron (formerly Antisense Therapeutics).
