Perhaps "capping" the SP is something you can raise at the AGM. I could not fathom why they would want to cap the SP. Of course, an SPP can have that effect on a company's SP, but it can also act as support, which clearly it has failed to do.
Anyhow, like you say, the fundamentals haven't changed and I'm pretty sure that the gold is still in the mountain. The SPP and upcoming election sure stopped NTL's remarkable run in its tracks.
