I say Labour win and completely ignore NTL.

If the NTL mining was a major issue which a lot of people realy cared about, and were opposing it - Labour would have already brough it up in the media. The fact that they haven't - indicates to me that they have nothing to gain by raising this issues..And quite possibly - they have something to lose.

Don't you think that if Labour had something to gain (like extra votes for example) by shutting down a company that's discovered some of the worlds highest-grade gold deposits, they wouldn't have mentioned it already?

Do you really think that a government, any government, is going to say NO to job-creating, millions upon millions of dollars of taxes to a company that has demonstrated its commitment to keep environmental impact of their activities down to virtually NONE?

If you really believe that - you are living in a world of delusion.
