Objectively, there is no contradiction between @Spizz71's two statements. I'm not sure what other than our own impatience would cause us to assume the statement implies imminence.

Uncertainty is inherent in the market: it remains fair to suggest that any emergent tech with a healthy cohort of big name industry partners is more likely to find adoption than if there were no partners. The timeline of adoption remains uncertain, naturally. I'm not sure why anyone would seek to trash talk @Spizz71 for his post.

The reference to playing catch-up may have equally, perhaps even more likely, referred to prospective users of the chips.
