I sent my complaint to the asic over 12 months ago outlining what I just said and then some. It was through their website and I think it was reporting misconduct by a company. Even though it stated that i should get a response in 28 days the only response i got was a reference number. It was a simple straightforward process so will do it again. I encourage everyone else to as well. At the very least it might lead to an investigation and then hopefully criminal charges.
