The National Plastics Plan 2021 ( a recently announced initiative of the Federal Government) has hust been released and includes the following:

C A S E S T U D Y :
Under the CRC-P the Australian Government
has awarded $1.9 million to Integrated Green
Energy Solutions (IGES) which has developed
technology that converts contaminated waste
plastic into reusable raw material through
chemical recycling. This technology will place
Australia as a world leader in plastic waste
management.
I'm not sure Government staff are quite up to date. Perhaps they should attend the Supreme Court tomorrow.
