Yeah maybe you are right mate, perhaps I am looking at it a little too one-dimensionally, but let's not forget 'the mad hueys' started in Oz as a satirical brand, with a massive social media presence also, and from what I have read was purchased by a reality TV star in the USA (distribution agreement) which has flopped big time, and it was targeting the same customer/demographic.
At one point, there was speculation they were going to be acquired by one of the big surf brands, but nothing came of it.
FXD, on the other hand- huge potential!
