Morning All,
had a bit of time to check out what's happening with the 12CQ on the software front. As per this annual report, AXE and Kelsen have almost completed the Quantum Neural Network (QNN) code developed with the Qiskit SDK and uploaded it to the IBM repository (cloud).
Commercial chip manufacturers like NVIDIA and Qualcomm provide similar software support for their chips. 'Cuda' for NVIDIA GPUs. 'SNPE' (Snapdragon Neural Processing Engine) for Qualcomm chips that are used in deep neural network computing. Generally chip makers make software available to developers by uploading it to clouds and AXE is doing the same. This maximises exposure to the development of hopefully many practical applications for the chip.
The other exciting thing is that the 12CQ is a quantum approach to Artificial Intelligence. QNN algorithms is a paradigm-shifter in how it tackles AI computing. Mo, in a piece last year... Dr Choucair said: “These quantum algorithms are not for the faint of heart. A quantum algorithm is a step-by-step procedure, where each of the steps can be performed using a qubit processor.“Archer is aiming to validate the advantages of QNNs in diverse use-cases that would benefit from ‘mobile’ quantum computing, including in the financial services sector, for example in advanced data analysis, sales forecasting, risk analysis and natural language processing.
'financial services sector' as we speak there are AI plans to re-arrange trading on stock markets. Wouldn't it be nice to be able to play the current bots out of the game altogether. Current bots are a joke as it is, AI for everyone might get rid of them forever. Dabru, 2105, everyone who keeps track of these ..... music to your ears am sure.
the 12CQ is a first of it's kind and tackling every requirement to success head on. Here's looking forward to the first commercially available room temp quantum chip that can handle QNN and can be accessible to as many software devs that want to put this chip through its paces....however long it takes... Bring it on.
