for an serious health issue you are likely to get referred to the public system.
a nurse asked me do you want to see same Dr privately $150 or free. I said well what do you think? she said "public its easier for my filing".
no wait same Dr same nurse.
now when I have an issue I ring the nurse though the public system and get in, unless its not serious then they ignore me. i always try to go public now not private the treatment is real, no extra marketing, wasted time.
I was talking to an emergency Dr and he was telling me the same thing,. public is easier less messing around and waste.
If you need a joint replacement or its embarrassing go private otherwise go public save yourself the rubbish - my experience
