Just reading in the SMH about Healthscope pulling out of agreements with dozens of health funds at its hospitals. Healthscope want to add a $100 fee per patient, but the healthfunds don't agree and so now these funds don't cover hospital services at Healthscope private hospitals.
How ridiculous, and how will Healthscope pay rent if it loses all these customers? I presume that there will have to be some sort of compromise eventually.
