Reduction of average price by US$38 from 2024 average received price to todays prices will mean reduction of revenue of 14Mt x $38= US$532M. This will flow straight to EBITDA assuming same costs. This will then mean EBITDA will be 715-532=183M.
This means net profit also can be reduced to US$50M on ratio of net profit to EBITDA basis. At today’s pricing, this is trading at PER of 20. Know above is a simplification of calculated, but goes to show why prices for coal miners get beaten down.
