Amigos, during Covid lockdowns, the NSW Dept brought in a range of new forms and requirements for explorers. An explorer has to carry out exploration at each of its licenced areas and report annually to show that it carried out its work program - that is not particularly new. However, at the renewal of the licence (every 3 years is preferred), the Mining Act requires that the licenced area must be reduced by 50% (unless the company can justify otherwise). Perhaps these conditions are one motive behind GRL's re-asseement of many of its licenced exploration areas. We know that GRL has plenty of good prospects, but they can't just sit on them. Hopefully, the proposed drilling at Yeoval & Gundagai, plus the pre-drilling work at WIlliams will make discoveries. They have made progress already at Lewis Ponds, Turrawonga Copper Hill East and Mt Aubrey. Personally I hope they are able to drill soon at Lewis Ponds and increase its JORC to 600,000 oz gold to 1 million oz gold - it all depends on the grades in the sulphides they recently discovered in the Quarry Lode.
