Interesting significant shareholder movements from 2015 to 2016:
* JP Morgan up from 11.3mill to 18.6mill
* Himstedt Super down from 4.9mill to 3mill
* HSBC Custody Nominees (Euroclear Bank SA) - new entrant - 0 to 10mill
* HSBC Custody Nominees - up from 3mill to 7.47mill
* Dr Stuart Phillips - up from 4.6mill to 5.3mill
* ABN Amro Clearing - up from 4.4mill to 5.2mill
* National Nominees - up from 4mill to 4.6mill
* Piper Buchanan - down from 11.3mill to 10.9mil
Pretty much everyone else has held roughly on to the same number of shares they had. Virtually nobody in the top 15 had sold down (other than Himstedt but still holds 3mill). This is despite the share price being $1 a year ago. This proves once and for all that all the largest holders are holding tightly to their shares, contrary to the scare tactics that some have tried to use to argue otherwise. Why are all the major shareholders keeping (and many increasing) their holdings? It's pretty obvious to me.
