Adam I see where you are coming from but I don't think in this case you can join those dots and come to a negative conclusion. ASX suspensions do not necessarily mean something negative for the company, especially when it comes to shell companies. In these cases clauses 12.1 and 17.3 are relevant, "the company does not have sufficient operations to warrant the continues listing of its securities." On face value it doesnt sound too good but if a shell company is used to vend a valuable project things can change suddenly. My guess is that any behind the scenes work to strike deals and secure assets doesn't qualify as "sufficient operations" until official, and any such current negotiations may not have even been reported to the ASX. My understanding is that both of those companies you have mentioned are earmarked for potential vend-ins. I have no knowledge of the company mentioned in bobcatpaul's post.
I know what it is like to be invested in an ASX small cap that unscrupulous directors have fleeced, and have consistently misled shareholders. My main motivation for posting on this particular forum is that I have great confidence that this is not the case at GML. There are people constantly working at bringing success to this company for the good of all shareholders. They will benefit greatly, and so will we. As I have stated before though, I do sympathise with the frustration of people who understandably suspect the company is going nowhere. It seems to me that a handful of other posters here have similar knowledge to me although none have posted in as much detail. This gives me extra confidence in what I believe to be in the pipeline. I was told recently that the best time for several years has emerged to acquire distressed assets with strong potential at the right price. This is a game of patience. Good luck to all.
