They can always mothball after finding the metal. We gave them this much money to find out what's in the ground - better spend it now and then wait and see. No point waiting till a bull market to start drilling. Who knows? maybe it'll take a year to find out whats in the ground and by then a bull market could have returned.
There's also the silver in the ground. Current Ag price is $21.5. If AUD falls to $0.60, and silver prices appreciate by 20%, it will become economical to mine again.
