If anyone is hoping - like I am - for a fall in the share price in anticipation of a pending slowdown in the markets that Reece serves, then this result is not going to be very helpful to that end, I'm afraid.
Because, like all Reece's financial results, this latest one is also a thing of beauty on so many levels.
And every time I look at a Reece result, one of the things that occurs to me is how thankful I am not to find myself trying to compete with Reece.
Because being a Reece competitor must be an unrelentingly miserable experience.
