In the scheme of things, the costs of this AGM venue is nothing next to the $200+m profit that they make.
I also know that the previous venue was getting too small. But, I'm pretty sure they can find an alternative that is more economical than The Intercontinental @ The Rialto!
As Reece grows, it employs more professionals and outsiders in its top positions. I just don't want their long-held culture of humility and thriftiness to be slowly eroded and replaced with your typical company's culture of spend spend spend!
In life, it's always easy to move up, but much harder to move down.
