Did the photo on the Table of Contents page (p 3 of Report) catch anyone else's eye, it is a shot of a car shell being spray painted.

Perhaps it provides a hint as to Talga's first commercial protective steel coating application. The Tata collaboration is usually the first mentioned in Talga's news updates and features again as no 1 in this year's Annual Report.

I'd always thought steel beams used in the construction industry might be the first cab off the rank and really hadn't considered the car industry as a potential market but anti-corrosion protection of car bodies prior to painting is big business and if there's a cheaper and better solution you can bet the car manufacturers are right on it.

Perhaps I'm just seeing what I want to see and reading too much into all of this but when you think about it but for those of you who know a little of what goes into producing an Annual Report every word, every table and every graphic that appears is the result of a carefully considered process.

Is the company trying to tell us something?
