I know Patersons quite well, they were a humble WA outfit originally, and I've both benefited and not so from their research over the years, before I began to do more and more of my own anyway.

But to return to my thoughts about the likely Thomas strategy here; there will be a broker on board who will happily take the firm AJX on their books to pitch to clients as "a speculative turn-a-round story", and if she is smart as many here believe, specifically direct Patersons to refrain from the 'pump n dump' treatment as that's not going to cut it for us in the market.

After all NC was a past master of that, in effect cruelling our investment marketing during his tenure.

Rather, with responsible marketing of the stock and a succession of improving 4C's to back that up, (and only Sue and Bob et al would know if they are in the offing), Patersons could be the higher profile vehicle we've been seeking to stimulate broader long term interest in a US based aussie stock.
