A lot of
emotion here... talk about play into the hands of a bunch of downrampers. The WKT evangelists are intent on getting into the heads of every other graphite stockholder there is on HC and reading the two previous posts they are doing a good job of it.
Before attacking me or any other poster that happens to be able to put forth a positive viewpoint, here are the
facts based on researching the SP of seven other ASX-listed graphite companies:-
1. Other than WKT (which has bucked the trend), not one has gone up in the last 12 months.
2. The majority (of which BSM is one) has had its SP decrease by two-thirds over the last 12 mths.
3. Two companies (BAT and SYR) have SPs that are one-fifth of what they were 12 mths ago.
4. Over the last 5 yrs, BSM's SP has faired the best. In fact, it has gone up 8-fold.
5. There are two that have higher dilution percentages to BSM over the last 5 yrs, namely WKT and BAT (which will undoubtedly experience more Cap Raising and dilution before possible plant build and production.
BSM went a different route to the others and "self-funded" their development which has at least got them into production. The company is producing revenue (albeit slowly) which is more than the graphite "hopefuls" can boast. Revenue is forecast to increase along with increasing production and sales.
To be calling Bass a "lifestyle company" is BS in context of the above facts. The current SP is not reflective of the company's value or progress given that the SP is what it was prior to recommissioning. Yeah, the smart ones sold above 2.8c last year, but does that make one a smartie to be selling now at 0.7c ???
To be saying "Literally won more money on SportsBet than with this stock over the past 12 months." is just nonsense in context of the above. Yeah, it may be a fact, and it sucks, but does that make it time to sell???
On top of that, Rusbus, to post the following comment, "Think it's time for me to sell.. and hope others follow suit also".... suggests malice towards those that intend holding. By all means, bag the management if you think there are grounds upon which to do so, but at least exit the stock and forum with some dignity and grace.
There are several aspects in the expenditure department that I am not happy about which I intend taking management to task over (but which are nothing unusual in this speccy end of the market). You only have to look at other graphite company's Annual Reports to know that BSM is no different. As Quickthinker mentioned, blue-chip stocks offer more stable returns and divvies, but they too can get whacked and rarely offer multi-baggers. If that's what you were expecting, Rusbus.... a multi-bagger without volatility and risk, well you had better stop your gambling with Sportsbet along with investing in the stockmarket.

Investing in small caps like this is not much safer than placing a bet in my opinion.
