RWD lost about 4 years to NT. AMN took almost 3 years to get the NT deal that RWD struggled with at MacKay. I doubt Lake Way has the same cultural significance that Lake Disappointment or MacKay has.
Nevertheless these things can take time. I doubt SO4 would have forked out for the Blackham tenements if it saw NT as a major hurdle.
