You might be right, maybe nothing comes off on this deal (not my opinion) and your entitled to believe that. But why did you invest in ANS shares? Did you think at the time that there is a 100% chance this stock will appreciate? Or was it a calculated risk? (I'm hoping the latter)
Because that's what trading is, taking calculated risk and you took a calculated risk when buying in, so why whinge now? Stick with the risk that you initially took. If anything your risk has been drastically reduced.

My point is nothing is a certainty in the market, and no matter how much you whinge about "nothing to bring" or "only a dream" it's not going to change a thing. The best thing you can do is remain hopeful and bank on the fact that managements hunger/greed will bring this deal to fruition.

Because ultimately management probably have major share holdings in the company, wouldn't they want to see this deal through and see $mil in their investment portfolio over night?

The only rational thing to do is sit pretty and hope that this comes off. Or if you're into being irrational post an off-market transfer request and i'm sure someone will pick up your shares.

Or read the announcements and try and join the dots, and you'll feel a whole lot more in comfort.
