Remember back in last October/November when the share price tanked from 14c down to ~ 8.5c? This was primarily driven by a fund manager selling out. In this case, the holdings were held in hundreds of small individual client accounts, hence not showing up in the top 20. The selling occurred over several weeks and in total not that many shares were sold (~7 - 10m) Most of the holdings were within 5,001 - 10,000 and 10,001 - 100,000 range bands). Total holders in these two combined bands went from 2305 down to 1781 Obviously many other trades have occurred in this 12 month period but the impact is clearly visible.
The more recent sell out by a small-cap fund was under NATIONAL NOMINEES LIMITED (10th top holder) whose holding went from 14,209,097 (15/05/2019) to below 3,800,000 (20/08/2019) and out of the TOP 20
