White Energy and its 49% joint venture partner in River Energy JV (River Energy), Proterra Investment Partners, have concluded their discussions
regarding alternative ownership and funding structures for River Energy’s BCB and coal fine beneficiation businesses in South Africa. During
July 2019, agreement was reached with Proterra for them to buy White Energy’s 51% interest in South African subsidiary RESA for a nominal amount.

Today: RESA manages a coal waste processing business currently recovering ~5mt per annum of waste coal, delivering product into the domestic and export markets, and implementing its ultra-fines solutions in partnership with key sector participants.

Interesting to see that RESA has entered the coal waste processing business in South Africa quite recently. It has been a very lengthy process due to black empowerments regulations, ownership changes bla, bla, bla. Anyway, RESA is a 100 % subsidiary of Proterra and still has license agreements with White Energy for the deployment of the BCB technology. Looks like there's life in the old dog yet.
