Unless PTB has disclosed that there has been a subsequent change to the 2020 audited financial statements from the version released at the time of the preliminary announcement, it is safe to assume that nothing has changed in the financial statements.
It is completely understandable that the company would want to release its preliminary announcement as soon as possible (and no doubt the company is required under ASX listing rules to release it as soon as the financial statements have been signed). Once this time pressure if off, management spending some more time to get the glossy part of the annual report looking its best is to be commended.
