I am not chartist - and really, I don't have a lot of faith in people looking at squiggles and trying to make predictions. Maybe it's been a channel and maybe it hasn't, but the floor has been rock solid even if there has been some "fake breakouts". Since April or so this year though, it's been a pretty consistent price range. I can sleep pretty well at night with the current range, and I won't be looking at any cups, handles, flags, pennants, or the like to guide me on what's coming up next.

The re-rating though is very interesting. I wrote recently September 2012 - April 2014 saw x3 or x4 growth. However, nothing really happened then that is different to what is happening now. It probably should never have got as low as it did in 2012 (which arguably is the same for 2020), and probably shouldn't get as high as it did in 2014 (which arguably will be my sell time in 2022!).
