What makes you think it costs them $1k per week for just the website hosting?

Website and IT can cover everything from website hosting, outsourced updates to the website (maybe even outsourced agency for their social feeds), all data servers for emails, software, subscriptions and even computer hardware which can be delivered and maintained with a monthly subscription.
