You are looking at base salaries not total remuneration. Alex's base salary is $380k the rest is performance. RMS MD Mark Zeptner has a base salary of $550k plus $250k performance . That is the 56,% cash component the other 44% is free shares. Zeptner is on about $1.5m.
To his credit Alex has been taking shares rather than $ until now. Just about all the CEOs are overpaid including Alex but it's wrong to single him out.
