Sorry apples but as far as I know there is no law saying you can’t sell a share in June and buy it back in July. I’d get a less conservative accountant. Al. I would say your plan is ok. Just remember if Hfr do eventually go up your profit will be more and so will your CGT bill. They always get you one way or another. You are just deferring the inevitable but it could still be worthwhile.
