Correct JB got the mine up and running, however the problem was always the process plant, which never operated cost effectively, therefore no profit margin, ( Loss making ) operation trying to payback high interest loan, was never going to work.
The BOD were experienced coal diggers and washers and the complexity of the process involved in producing commercial quantities of 6 % spod was, unfortunately, beyond them.
