It certainly looks like a falling knife from all perspectives l agree. The first rule in investing is not to become emotionally attached to any single stock. A lot of commentry here has been driven by those kind of holders who have not been so positive recently. l am a bit surprised none have come out stating the virtues of this stock and how we are all sitting on a gold mine. Maybe this post will bring the wrath of someones biased tongue but my own commentary is from a holder who certainly supports the stock. On paper l am down an incredible amount and logic suggests l should dump all my holdings while still up100%. l fear that if it bottoms out soon, l will be left behind on a savage rebound. That rebound is just a mythical thing though because whats not to say this contiunes to head to 40 cents or even lower? The fundamentals to me look shakey. The valuation of the stock shot up on the promise of a timely approval of the U.S. rebate code being granted. That failed to occur and now drags on into the future with absolutely no time line. The prospect of a multi national distribution deal may still be in the wings, but each week of stagnation drives nervous investors away. It may be next week, later this year, next year, or five years away or even never. This dream certainly helped drive the recent valuation, but its pretty obvious the market is now saying it was not justified. As for a commercial and sustainable income stream, well that could be years away as well. This pull back is reality driven in my mind. l do not know what a fair valuation is for PIQ and l do not know how long it will take for all the ducks to align. No body has any idea if the truth be known. Logic says PIQ have cornered a vast crucial medical market, but hard edged investors are sceptical about its ability to commercialise and the time line. Given this is a pullicly owned company, the absence of any reassuring announcement the same way that Flight Center suspended their shares after the Covid driven sell off, irks of management either asleep at the wheel or oblivious to their duty to run the company in a strong sound manner. Saying nothing after a SP almost halves in value is NOT an option in my opinion. As for this company being de-risked, well it may have been, but now it looks extremely high risk given all the unknowns and all the uncertainty extending well into the future. l guess this is why all and sundry are bailing out. l will continue to hold, but it is a very difficult position to be in. l hope things turn the corner soon, even though hope is a very poor investing criteria. Good luck to all who hold.
