A busy few weeks, and like many of you would be, scratching my head in wonderment & dismay over our SP decline. Sure the broader market, but I think some may have sold being fed up waiting, especially when it went lower than the magical $1 mark & stop losses being hit.
So of course, the question is why?
So the only 2 things I have come up with so far are RenalytixAI study on CANVAS patients using completely different biomarkers to PIQ & PromarkerD & to be published this month in Diabetologia Journal.
So yes we are very much ahead in global patents, the development & market readiness of IVD ELISA test kits for Labs & regions that may not have access to Mass Spectrometry & AI & also regions that do, with costing of USD$55-150 not USD$~900 to marry-up biomarkers + AI, which also relies on input of data into patient medical records to predict renal decline in DKD,
As opposed to a blood test prognostic of developing DKD & then renal decline once diagnosed (PromarkerD).
Now we also have data on PromarkerD risk scores of patients on treatment with SGLT2i Canagliflozin, showing that it reduces risk scores with the test (ie the drug is working & beneficial across a cohort of ~3000 patients, the second study with Janssen).
So waiting on news. Yes I totally think of those that bought at the top, those that sold in frustration earlier on, but the end game will be PIQ’s success & while earlier stages, Oesophageal Ca & Endometriosis in development are also both be interesting additions to the pipeline.
We have all seen these seemingly extreme dips in SP here before (obviously manipulated on low volumes) & run again, both on no news or an ANN. So not losing my marbles over this. The PIQ Rollercoaster ride. It doesn’t equate with a stable FA.
