I take the long term view that it is more beneficial for the company and therefore for the long term share price, when management follow stringently to keeping it real and report within realistic expectations.
I think in the whole time I have been with PIQ and that 5 years or more, I have only seen management over sell once.
though I share your disappointment with the retrace of the sp, I don't think that management are responsible for that. the market is responsible for that. and no doubt when good news come it will edge up again and if it doesn't it will keep heading south.
this is the nature of the beast, I personally prefer investing in a company that has sound and realistic communication rather than a company that is constantly trying to over sell to investors.
I am invested in a company that tends to do that and to be honest, judgement of management for that one is a lot harsher than the dispointment being expressed by you here.
the market is full of issues and we are in the middle of a global health crisis.. me thinks this is having more impact on the sp than what richard is or is not saying.
