after seeing the 4 corners report this week by paul barry, its pretty obvious queensland regional towns will be worse than the cities. i can easily see 40% falls once the jobs go and dont come back.
no mining boom means no construction boom building overpriced houses. no high paid miners or builders and the service economy goes pear shaped.
places like hervey bay, townsville, mackay, cairns, gladstone will be ground zero in the great australian housing bust which has just begun
