Time for the directors to take a haircut on their wages. $72,000 for the chair to attend a meeting once a month and destroy shareholder value doesn't seem like a good result for shareholders. $54k and $64k for the other two battlers on the board. Time for these blokes to align their remuneration in line with their performance. Why not reduce their wages in line with the performance against the benchmark listed in their report? They say the company's NAV declined by 5%, and the performance of (NYSE: MJ) returned 61%. Why not reduce wages of the board by 67% ?
Why are we paying Jim a $25,000 cash bonus? For what exactly did he achieve?
