The term sophisticated investor is laughable. A good portion have no idea as to what they're doing. I know of a sophisticated investor that participated in the first PLS cap raise at $0.015. Several tens of millions of shares and dumped them over the next year thinking that they were great having made a little coin. They left almost $200M on the table.

Most sophisticated investors are old money and their brokers churn their money making them pips whilst earning nice commissions. I'm patient and looking to make a decent amount over the coming years.
