Yep - there currently seems to be a "ACV to receipts lag" of around 15 months to firstly onboard the data & then increase the customers use up to the expected ACV levels & then obviously collect the funds.
But I think what Ian / 3DP management was stating in the section you have highlighted in this 21 / 22 annual report was:
ACV increased by 86%
Revenue increased by 146%
Cash Receipts increased by 91%
So the cash receipts % increase was actually higher than the ACV % increase - and it was also a lower % increase than the really important Revenue % increase.
And again management have mentioned "with these metrics expected to align as the business continues to mature in coming reporting periods".
The cash receipts discussion has been occuring for a few years on thse boards, so I don't want to dwell too much on them - but I spotted this interesting fact / quirk in the 3DP financials the other day:
The Pointerra ACV in USD at year end currently tends to equal the following years revenue in AUD.
So ACV was $4.0m USD at 30/6/20, and revenue the next year was $4.0m AUD at 30/6/21
Then ACV was $9.8m USD at 30/6/21, and Pointerra's revenue the next year was $9.8m AUD at 30/6/22
And ACV was $18.2 USD at 30/6/22, so this financial years revenue may be around that number in AUD???
On another note, it is great to see "all Pointerra hands on deck" to assist the FPL Hurricane Ian clean up mission - and fingers crossed it becomes a huge & shiny example of just how powerful the Pointerra platform can be in these (horrible) circumstances.
