- Mr Williams was identified by consultants in 2021, the BOD appointed Mr Atkins.
- Late 2021, some of the BOD ('with support of some shareholders') pushed for Mr Williams to further be appointed, 'but [the BOD] was not able to reach a consensus position in respect to his appointment'.
- 2022, currently conducting another independent search for potential new non-exec Director.
- Mr Williams has self-nominated, BOD has 'again considered' his appointment 'but was not able to reach a consensus position'.
- 'the Chairman has advised he intends to vote all open proxies granted to him against Resolution 4'.
So 3 times Mr Williams seems to have been considered by the BOD yet unable to reach a consensus!
Mr Williams seems extremely keen and hasn't been perturbed by the rejection to date.
Does he, like us as SHs, see the potential and under value of WGO?
Given his experience as Director and Chair with AWE through discovery of Waitsia and subsequent lucrative sale, you would think he would be a logical and obvious fit. Who else on the BOD has that experience?
Our Chairman has made his position crystal clear! What is he afraid of?
Many of us have been wanting a change for a while now, seems like here's our opportunity.
Be mindful of your proxy nomination!
