My takeaway is simple. Its all around the "when". Yes is is a large undertaking for a company the size of IBG right now. They know that. EXIM know that. IBG are working hard to find a sizeable partner, one with relevant cold climate mining experience maybe to beef up the register and support the journey to execution.

For me its about that "when"...seems to me that is a confident statement.

IBG will rerate substantially, basis all the big green ticks "when". And only when.

That when may not be tomorrow but lets hope it a) does happen and b) is soon. I believe leadership and board are working hard to make that happen.

That’s pretty much how I read it.

For me I think an approach and JV with Teck would be ideal. They are about to come off the back of Red Dog in Alaska which has been mined since 1989 and will ramp down to closure in 2032 ish.

They would need to get something to replace that and what better than this potential mine? Size comparison and conditions all met.
