LKE have stated their water consumption is 10 cubic metres of water, per tonne LCE.

That’s half a billion litres of water (500,000,000 litres), per year, for 50ktpa LCE.

A standard Olympic-sized swimming pool contains 2.5 million litres of water.

So, LKE will consume 200 Olympic-sized swimming pools of water, per year.

Then they intent to re-inject approx. the same volume, but contaminated with residual acids & reagents.

1. Where’s the Power coming from, to run this energy intensive monster (extraction, as well as re-injection)??

2. Where’s the Water coming from, to feed this thirsty monster ??

3. There is indeed a lot for the local indigenous community to be concerned about !!
