Thanks for the Cu part of the post. What I'm hearing is the Cu smelters want the Cu but they have a problem with the Cu lower content of concentrates ie. Chalcopyrite is rather the bornite because of the extra sulphur and iron that comes with it. and the impurities eg. arsenic and other deleterious material. That being the case they are and will be willing to pay up for lower impurity concentrates to sweets the mix.

Of course from the top Xi is saying. Hey, stop importing so much concentrate and especially not sulphur because we have a balance of payments and a greenhouse gas problem. We are running out of cash to support all our other problems. He's doing just like our government, one foot on the brake and one on the accelerator. The usual strategy when you have no f'n idea.
