I do understand it's an unfortunate situation that he's in - if he reports that the ramp up is having critical issues, not good for the share price. If he reports they're working on ramp up, and doesn't acknowledge the issues, still not good for the share price - as we're not idiots, we can clearly see they're unable to get it working anywhere near that it should be with the time they've had to date.
Done it to themselves, IMO, by jumping the gun and not following through on the Stage 1 production to nameplate, or at least having it at continuous production, and not leaving it at a total 30t produced over 3-4 years. Obviously they would have had filtration issues when attempting to scale the pilot plant to continuous production, and would have had more data and more of an idea on how to resolve those issues now.
Hindsight though right? But these things happen when you jump the gun and try to reinvent the wheel.
