    Ideally it should be the opposite.
    We as shareholders should be owners in a head company that owns all rights and IP. It then also owns a mining company etc, that do the work. If any of these ventures fail, they can be folded safely, maintaining the core.
    What we have here is a small group of owners using our dumb money to leverage their IP with no risk, and be paid to do it.
