My expectation would be that QPME is spun off into it's own listed entity and QPM shareholders should end up with shares in both listed entities. From there each company can be valued by the market on their own individual merit and performance without the having overheads and other costs jumbled up together to confuse everyone.

The two current company activities are very different investment propositions:

    1. Speculative tech project; and
    2. Revenue generating energy/gas producer.

This way shareholders can divest/invest from one or both of the entities to suit their own investment objectives while removing the cross-contamination between the two independent activities.

I also wonder if QPM will retain a certain amount of shares or leave an agreement in place to safeguard the future energy requirements of the Tech project in the event it gets up one day. QPM could lose control of the entity and their energy source for the Tech project once it's de-merged.

Makes sense to me and interested to see how it pans out for everyone.

    All the best.
