Pretty disappointing share price movement. To be fair the nickel market collapsed while inflation hit construction and funding costs hard. Some risks shareholders assume with external factors management cannot control. The energy business pivot has likely saved the company in difficult circumstances. It will be interesting to see how things evolve once the de-merger is executed. East coast gas and energy shortages predicted if you have been following media. If shareholders are too tight with management wages the company will end up with the bottom of the barrel - anyone worth their salt will move on if not being paid what they can get elsewhere.
