I really think this line about the CEO not buying any shares in his first ten years with KCN has been done to death and can't be justified. HISTORY LESSON: JG first surfaced as an Executive in FY17 on an annual salary of $190k, in FY18 also $190k, in FY19 only worked Jul/Aug18 on an annual salary basis and then would have been at call for the last ten months in FY19 due to KCN's situation and this continued during all of FY20 and FY21 and FY22 with no mention of him but obviously at call at a daily rate. From Feb23 he was promoted to Acting CEO on a daily rate of $1500 for each day worked but essentially full time. So from FY13 to FY16 he was not an executive and was probably earning ~$100k/pa at a guess. From Sep18 to Jan23 he was only at call at a daily rate that we know about. So there were only two years and two months(from Jul16 to Aug18)where he was on $190k/pa (prior to Feb23) that would be classed as executive pay and that was after the mine was shut down or had been given notice to shutdown by the Thai authorities so why would anyone in their right mind invest their salary in KCN at that stage(even though some of you did with your gambling money). Sorry I'm never going to accept this argument that he's currently short of shares.
